Richard Williams Retrospective at the 92Y Tribeca

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday February 27th, 2013 – Friday, March 1st, 2013, the 92Y Tribeca will celebrate the 80th birthday of animation’s great Richard Williams with a retrospective of screenings.  Who Framed Roger Rabbit will start the series off with an introduction by animator/screenwriter Richard Gorey.  The Little Island plus other animated shorts will play on Thursday.  Lastly, Kevin Schrek’s fascinating documentary on the ill-fated The Thief and the Cobbler, Persistence of Vision, will round out the series followed by a Q and A with the director.  Please visit the 92Y Tribeca website for times and tickets.
